We Still Being Silly is a series of large paper drawings along with analog pictures from childhood, aiming towards the universality of our images, and how our personal memories become collective.
Shaped by protests, fires, and political turmoil the images become broken while existing like an undeniable mark in our people’s blood.
Due to the Venezuelan crisis of 2017 this exhibition spent two weeks without electricity at the Museum. The dictatorship continued to close our spaces of thought but we are still silly in the absurd of our external realities.
